Suspect wanted in two Edmonton armed robberies

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is searching for a man they say is responsible for two separate armed robberies on August 5.

The first incident occurred right before 5 p.m. when the man allegedly entered a Petland in the Brewery District in downtown Edmonton. The man browsed the store for a few minutes before approaching the cashier, flashing a gun, and demanding money. The cashier complied and the suspect then fled the scene on a bike.

Just an hour later, that same man is accused of doing the same thing at the Sobey’s liquor store behind Kingsway Mall.

Police describe the suspect as:

  • A white man
  • 6’0” tall and 165 lbs
  • Has a tattoo on his left forearm

Anyone with information on these robberies are asked to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567.
