Police searching for man alleged of multiple sexual assaults on Whyte Ave

Police are searching for a man alleged of sexually assaulting multiple women on Whyte Ave earlier this month.

Officers say that on the September 1 and 2, they received reports of a man who approached three women who were walking alone and sexually assaulting them through unwanted sexual touching.

“Our investigative team now believes there is enough evidence to suggest that one suspect may be responsible for these three incidents,” said Harry Grewal, the staff sergeant of the EPS sexual assault section.

“Suspect descriptions and actions are similar in all three incidents.”

The suspect is described as:

  • A white man
  • Between the ages of 20 and 30
  • 5’9″ to 6’0″ tall
  • Thin to medium build

The EPS sexual assault section has not yet identified the man and is looking to speak with anyone else who might have been victim to this type of behaviour or has information regarding the suspect’s identity.

Those with info are asked to call EPS at 780-423-4567.
