Fort Sask, Morinville RCMP search for break and enter suspects

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP and Morinville RCMP are investigating several break and enters that they believe involve the same suspects.

On August 25, Fort Saskatchewan police received a report of a break in at a locked compound off 88 Avenue. A black and grey pickup truck was observed during the break in, where fuel was taken alongside a generator.

On September 5, police responded to a break in at a card lock on Highway 15 in Lamont County. Three suspects in two trucks stole a 2012 Ford F150 pickup with Alberta license plate BFT-0602.

On September 8, police received reports of tools being stolen from a business on 88 Avenue. Three suspects in a grey Chevrolet pickup truck were spotted.

On September 11, Morinville RCMP were told of a break in at another card lock on Highway 651. Six tidy tanks were stolen. Three suspects were spotted, driving what appears to be a white, grey, and black Chevrolet pickup truck. Police believe that this truck had fled an RCMP traffic stop earlier that day.

On September 26, Fort RCMP were told of another break in to an 88 Avenue business. Tools were taken once again, with four suspects driving three trucks spotted during the crime. Police confirmed that this was the same business in the September 8 break in.

Police are asking residents to report suspicious activity and to call Fort Saskatchewan RCMP if they have any information on the break ins.

The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP can be reached at 780-997-7900.
