Crash on Anthony Henday causes delays

Anthony Henday Drive is experiencing heavy delays westbound between 111 Street and Rabbit Hill Road.

The delays come as a crash happened on Thursday (Oct. 5) morning. How many vehicles or people were involved in the crash is not known, but police have stated that there do not appear to be any serious injuries.

Witnesses on the scene claim to see a school bus with damage on its left side parked on the road, while a red Cadillac with significant damage was parked on the shoulder.

The incident caused Anthony Henday drive to jam, which has led to the delays.

Edmonton police are asking residents to take alternate routes as they clean the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
