Edmonton restaurant robbed at gunpoint

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery.

On April 11, the suspect entered a restaurant in the area of 120 Avenue and 90 Street, where they pulled a silver handgun and demanded all of the cash from the register. After getting the cash, the suspect fled northbound on 90 Street towards 122 Avenue.

According to police, there were no patrons in the restaurant during the robbery, and nobody was injured.

The robbery was captured on the restaurant’s security cameras. Police are releasing the video and image of the suspect in the hopes that they can be identified.

The suspect is described as:

  • An Indigenous man
  • Around 5 foot 10 inches tall
  • 230 pounds
  • Wearing a gold ring on right pointer finger
  • Tattoos on top of right hand and both sides of neck
