EPS investigating suspicious death

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has begun an investigation into a suspicious death.

On Wednesday (Oct. 11) morning at around 10 a.m., police responded to reports of a weapons complaint in an apartment neat 106 Street and 80 Avenue.

When police arrived they located a man who was seriously injured. Paramedics tried life-saving measures to save the man, but he succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

EPS’ Homicide Section has taken over the investigation, as they believe the manner of death was suspicious. An autopsy has yet to be scheduled.
