Trunk or Treat returns to Fort Saskatchewan

The annual Trunk or Treat event is returning to Fort Saskatchewan.

Hosted by Little Minion Events, this year’s Trunk or Treat is going on from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 28) down 100 Avenue.

The event features plenty of local businesses handing off candy to kids for a daytime alternative to trick or treating.

“I love seeing all the different decorations that everyone comes up with,” said Meghan Pollard, vice chair with Little Minion Events. “We’ve had some amazing different ones over the years, from gumball machines to giant spiders.”

Pollard added that they’re expecting to see a turnout between 2,000 and 2,500 trick or treaters on the day of the event.

“We’re seeing people coming in from outside Fort Saskatchewan itself, even as far away as Radway and Thorsby.”

This is the sixth year that Trunk or Treat will be running in Fort Saskatchewan.
