Man dead after crash near Anthony Henday Drive

A 24-year-old man is dead after a crash in Edmonton on Sunday morning.

Just before 5 a.m., Edmonton police responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash in the area of 184 Street and Anthony Henday Drive NW.

When officers arrived they discovered a rolled over dark blue 2008 Dodge Ram, and a deceased man several feet away. Police believe that the man was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.

EPS Major Collision officers continue to investigate the crash, with speed believed to be a factor.

Anyone with footage of the incident is being asked to contact Edmonton Police Service by calling 780-423-4567.
