Josephburg Choral Society bringing Christmas show to Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan

The Josephburg Choral Society is bringing a holiday show to the area next month.

On December 3rd, the Josephburg Men’s Chorus and Bells in Harmony will be performing their show at the Sherwood Park United Church at 7 p.m.

The following weekend, the show will be arriving to Fort Saskatchewan at the Dow Centennial Centre at 7 p.m.

“We’ve been performing annually for 45 years now,” said Brent Orchard, director of the Bells in Harmony. “There’s a wide range of Christmas music. We have a handbell group, and it’s all really good music that everyone knows and loves.”

Tickets are $20 per adult, with youth 12 and under being able to get in for free. The society is also accepting donations for the local food bank, as there is a greater need this year than ever before.

“I love to sing for people, and people just like music. Music is soothing and enriching and if you can offer that as a gift, why not?”

The Choral Society is always looking for more players. If you’re interested in joining the society, you can reach out to them by visiting their website.

Tickets for their upcoming shows are available at the door.
