Leduc’s Stuff A Cruiser biggest in event history

Leduc’s Stuff A Cruiser event was the biggest in the events five-year history.

Leduc RCMP, in partnership with the City of Leduc Enforcement Services, Vintage Towing, and Oil Country Towing, hosted the event over the weekend.

By the end of the event, the team collected 4,878 pounds of food, and $4,586 in cash. This marks the most successful year of this annual event.

All of this money and food will be going towards the Leduc & District Food bank.

“Year after year the generosity of Leduc and surround area residence is extremely heartwarming,” said Constable. Cheri-Lee Smith with Leduc RCMP. “This event shows the kind of people Leduc is made of and is a great example of the community spirit of the RCMP and our partners and how we are dedicated to serving our communities.”

Leduc RCMP also extended their thanks to Leduc Safeway, Craig’s No Frills, Leduc Coop and Walmart Leduc for supporting the event.

For those who missed out, you can always donate to the Leduc & District Food Bank on their website.
