Five arrested following suspicious vehicle reports in Fort Saskatchewan

Five people have been arrested following two reports of suspicious vehicles in Fort Saskatchewan.

The first report was back in November, when police tracked down a suspicious vehicle at a hotel on 101 Street before following it to a local business.

When the supicious vehicle arrived, a person got out and tried to steal merchandise from the business.

Police followed the vehicle to Sturgeon County, where two suspects got into another vehicle. A chase broke out, which ended at a home on Township Road 580.

Police arrested and charged 23-year-old Stephen Lundgren from Gibbons, 28-year-old Bevin Nash from Bon Accord, and 38-year-old Matthew Krochter from Wetaskiwin.

The second report was in late November, when police spotted a stolen pickup truck on 103 Street.

Police arrested 27-year-old Ethan Redding from Edmonton and 24-year-old Corinne Chaisson from Wainwright with the theft.
