Fort Saskatchewan man dies in crash on Queen Elizabeth II Highway

A man from Fort Saskatchewan was killed after a collision on Highway 2 earlier this month.

On December 15, several collisions were reported on the highway due to poor road conditions. Roads were so bad that the police banned semi trucks down a section of the highway.

One of the collisions reported that day involved a 58-year-old man.

According to police, the crash happened just before 9 a.m. and closed off the road for several hours.

The identity of the man who was killed in the crash, and the details of the crash itself, are not yet known.
