Edmonton vehicle fire spreads to Little Italy greenhouse

Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) dealt with a fire in the Little Italy neighbourhood in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to EFRS, they were called to the scene of a vehicle fire in the area of 95 Street and 108 Avenue just before 3:30 a.m., had spread from a pickup truck to the Zocalo greenhouse and coffee shop.

Firefighters got the fire under control just before 5 a.m. and was officially put out a few hours later.

No injuries were reported in the blaze, with the cause of the fire and the damage estimate not being released yet.
