Winter catches up as winter storm hits Canada

It looks like the beautiful winter weather will be coming to a close pretty soon.

A winter storm will be coming to Canada, with two weather systems bringing snow, rain, and extreme cold weather to the country.

Out in the east, areas like southern Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic coast, are expecting heavy snowfall, with areas of Newfoundland expecting up to 20 centimetres of snowfall.

While out west, Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning as the west coast expects 40 to 50 millimetres of rain.

Whereas out in Alberta, we’re not expecting any heavy snowfall or rain, but we will see things cool down.

According to our forecast, we’re expecting to see a daytime high of -27 C next Wednesday, and -30 C the following day.
