Woman’s show and Mom, Pop & Tots Fair coming to Edmonton

Two shows are coming to Edmonton later this month.

On January 20 and 21, the Mom, Pop & Tots Fair will be featured within the Edmonton Woman’s Show at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

The Women’s Show features an Indigenous market, hands-on pain relief strategies, and even a wine lounge.

“We’ve been doing the Women’s Show for many years now, and it’s really about shared experience with women,” said Louise Reinich with Edmonton Shows. “There’s usually a very good turnout, and we’re always hoping people will come and experience it.”

There will also be several speakers at the event, including author and stroke survivor Christine Holubec-Jackson, and Amy Porter from Tiny HeartsCan Foundation.

As for the Mom, Pop & Tots Fair, there will be several interactive and informative exhibits for parents and children alike.

“We want to provide an event for young families to come in, and to really find the resources and fun that they’re looking for,” added Reinich. “This year, we are doing it in the Edmonton Women’s Show.”

For the adults there are several resources, products, and services to check out based on education and healthy living, while for the kids there’s a petting zoo, a drawing floor, bouncy castles, and face painting.

The shows cost $15 for people 17-years-old and up, youth 9-16 get in for $11, children 3-8 get in for $5, and children under 2-years-old get in for free. The cost of admission covers both shows and can be purchased online or at the door.

The shows are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. You can read more about the events on the Edmonton Shows website here.
