Dozens of Quaker products recalled for salmonella

Several Quaker products have been recalled in Canada for potential salmonella contamination.

In total, 38 types of cereal and granola bars were recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), including chewy dipps, yogurt bars, and fruit crumble bars.

The products included in the recall have best-before dates that span between January 11 to September 7, 2024.

Salmonella can cause a variety of symptoms, such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea. However, there have been reported illnesses due to the recalled products.

The investigation began as there was a recall in another country.

You can see a full list of the impacted products on the CFIA website here.
