St. Albert Interfaith Connections Call for Nominees to Honour at International Women’s Day Event

St. Albert Interfaith Connections has opened nominations for outstanding women to be honour in its latest International Women’s Day event, held at St. Albert Community Hall on March 8.

The organization would like you to nominate women in the community who best demonstrate “generosity of spirit, courage, creativity, determination, steadfastness, leadership, enthusiasm, love, care, and other attributes that enrich our community,” the nomination form reads.

Nominees can have background in fields like arts, business, community service, education, health, literacy, mentorship, motherhood, peace, youth, Indigenous initiatives, science, or other.

Nominees must be residents of St. Albert, Sturgeon County, or one of the communities within Sturgeon County and neighboring Counties.

Nominations close on February 8, 2024 and can be submitted via mail and email using the form on St. Albert Interfaith’s website.
