Ford recalls 93,000 vehicles in Canada

Ford is recalling over 90,000 of its Explorer model due to a loose exterior part.

According to Ford, some of these vehicles had their A-pillar trimp clips attached improperly, which could lead to them becoming detached and creating a hazard on the road.

The recall includes Explorer’s with model years between 2011 and 2019.

So far there have been no accidents or injuries related to this issue, according to Ford. Globally, there have been over 2 million vehicles recalled.

Ford said that owners would be notified in March and told to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealership for a free replacement.
