‘Friendraiser Gala’ huge success for Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation

The Sturgeon Community Hospital Foundation had a huge success at their annual Friendraiser Gala.

The gala was held on January 27 at the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert and featured a reception and dinner alongside an auction and even some live entertainment.

With around 700 people in attendance, the gala managed to raise $400,000 for the hospital. These funds will primarily be going towards 30 cardiac monitors, which will be added to every observation bed in the emergency department.

All remaining funds will be going towards other hospital expenses, with some funds even being raised before the gala.

The Friendraiser Gala has been an annual event for the Sturgeon Community Hospital foundation for 31 years.
