Edmonton Valley Zoo welcomes two new Arctic wolves

The Valley Zoo in Edmonton got a Valentine’s Day surprise with the arrival of two new female Arctic Wolves.

These new wolves were selected to serve as new companions for Tundra, a male Arctic wolf who last his partner back in 2022.

These two new wolves, who have not been named, are sisters from different litters, being delivered from Parc Zoologique CERZA in France.

These new wolves will spend a month in quarantine before being gradually introduced to Tundra. Once they’re safe and comfortable together, they’ll be moved to the new Arctic Wolf habitat.

This new habitat is currently under construction and is expected to be finished in the summer.
