Strathcona County recognized as one of Canada’s best employers

Strathcona County has been named one of Canada’s best employers by Forbes Magazine.

Out of 300 organizations in the list, Strathcona County landed at #60, the only municipality in western Canada that made the list.

“We are honoured to receive recognition for being one of Canada’s top employers,” said Strathcona County Mayor Rod Frank. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work, passion and innovation of our staff, who make Strathcona County a great place to work and live. We are grateful for their contributions, and we continue to support staff in their personal and professional growth. Thank you for being so engaged in your roles!”

The rankings are done through a survey of over 40,000 Canadians, basing employers off salary, work flexibility, on-the-job training, and other factors.
