Edmonton police continue to look for missing man

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) are still looking for a missing 24-year-old man.

Robey Baptiste was last seen in the area of 129 Avenue and 71 Street back on January 26 and has not had contact with family or friends since. He was officially reported missing on February 1.

Police sent out a missing person release on February 15, but Baptiste has not been found yet.

Baptiste is described as:

  • 5 foot 8 inches
  • Approximately 135 pounds
  • Brown eyes
  • Short black hair

Baptiste was last seen wearing a black hat, blue rimmed glasses, light blue jeans, black running shoes, and a dark blue jacket.

“We are seeking the public’s assistance now as we have exhausted all investigative avenues available to us to locate Robey,” said Nicole Berezanski of the EPS Missing Persons Unit. “We have significant concerns for Robey’s welfare given how long he has been gone, but we remain hopeful that he may see this or that someone out there can point us to where he is.”

According to police, Baptiste is familiar with LRT and ETS bus routes, and is known to frequent local libraries.
