EPS: Autopsy completed in suspicious parking lot death

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has completed an autopsy on a suspicious death that happened in a parking lot in the area of 117 Street and 162 Avenue.

Police discovered the body at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and believe he had been there for several hours before he was discovered.

Police have identified the victim as a 32-year-old man, but are withholding his name until they learn more about his death. The autopsy also concluded that further testing would be required to determine the cause and manner of death.

Homicide detectives continue to look into the case and are asking anyone who was in the area of 117 Street and 162 Avenue on Saturday to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
