Fort Saskatchewan U16A Ringette heading to provincials

Congratulations to the Fort Saskatchewan Ringette U16A Team for securing a spot in provincials this year.

“We’re on the ice three days a week,” said coach Bob Dul on the preparations the team has been making. “We had three weeks between our last game and provincials, so we’ve practicing all our plays and all of our systems.”

Provincials are in Leduc and run from March 1 to March 3.

“We’re definitely the smallest association in provincials, and that’s common for Fort Saskatchewan,” said Dul. “We go against associations with many U16 teams, and we only have enough for two. It’s always kind of David and Goliath.”

“We’re small by numbers, but we’re a very talented team,” added Dul.

You can find out more about provincials by visiting the Ringette Alberta website.
