Edmonton Police Service Request Security Camera Footage in Queen Alexandra Shooting Death

Edmonton Police Service homicide detectives would like to review doorbell and dash cam footage shot in Monday, February 26 between 6 p.m. and midnight in the Queen Alexandra-area of 106 Street and 74 Avenue.

Detectives are probing the shooting death of 35-year-old Ozan Budak. His body was discovered in a residence at about 11:20 p.m. Police had initially responded to the area to reports of gunshots but didn’t locate anything suspicious.

The autopsy, conducted Thursday, February 29, confirmed the cause of death to be gunshot wounds, and that cause of death was homicide.
