EPS: Six suspects wanted after assault on 64-year-old man

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) are looking for six suspects following an assault on a 64-year-old man that happened last month.

According to police, the assault was on February 24 at the Churchill LRT platform. The victim was approached by one of the suspects, which led to a verbal altercation.

EPS says that this altercation led to the suspect attacking the man before five other suspects joined in on the assault. The man was allegedly robbed before the suspects fled the scene.

The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Indigenous
  • 20 to 25 years old
  • Approximately six feet tall
  • Slim Build
  • Black Hair with a light moustache
  • Wearing black ‘Playboy’ hat, black jacket, black jeans, red and black running shoes, and a black/brown backback.
  • Armed with pepper spray

The second suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Around 30 years old
  • 5’7″ to 5’9″
  • Slim Build
  • Hair dyed blonde
  • Wearing a black jacket, ripped blue jeans, and black shoes.

The third suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • 30 to 40 years old
  • 5’7″ to 5’9″
  • Slim build
  • Black face mask and black hat with a cannabis leaf on front
  • A black and orange scarf
  • Black jacket with ‘Jordan’ logo
  • Dark blue jeans
  • Grey shoes
  • Riding a light grey bicycle

The fourth suspect is described as:

  • Medium build and height
  • Wearing a black hat, white puffy jacket, and maroon/purple scarf, black pants, white running shoes, and carrying a black backpack

The fifth suspect is described as:

  • Female
  • 25-30 years old
  • Medium height and build
  • Shoulder length brown hair
  • Wearing a brown sweater, teal baggy pants, and white running shoes

The sixth suspect has already been identified as 35-year-old Travis Damian Houle, with a warrant being issued for his arrest. Houle is facing charges of aggravated assault and robbery.

Police have also released images of all the suspects in the hopes that they can be identified.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects or Houle’s whereabouts to get in touch with EPS at 780-423-4567.
