Leduc RCMP investigate series of break and enters

Police in Leduc are investigating a series of break and enters which officers believe were caused by the same suspects.

The first break in was in late February at the L.A. Nissan dealership. According to police, two suspects entered the building and attempted to steal a vehicle.

The suspects ended up leaving the area in what police believe is a blue Nissan SUV with aftermarket headlights.

Just nine minutes after the first break in, and police received reports of another break and enter at the Leduc Chrysler Jeep dealership. It was reported that two suspects entered the building and stole a truck.

Police say that the stolen truck was eventually recovered in Red Deer.

Almost an hour after the second break in, and police received a third report of break and enter, this time to the Shoppers Drug Mart on 50 Street. According to police, the suspects stole cologne, perfume, and electronics worth around $26,000.

The RCMP believes that the same two suspects are responsible for the three break and enters.

The first suspect is described as wearing all black with a grey hoodie, mask, and gloves.

The second suspect was also wearing all black but with a logo on the front of the hoodie. This suspect was also wearing a mask and gloves.

Police have released photos of the suspects in the hopes that they can be identified. Anyone with information on these crimes or those responsible are asked to contact Leduc RCMP at 780-980-7267.
