Fort Saskatchewan RCMP respond to serious crash

There was a serious car crash on Highway 825 yesterday.

The crash was near Boysdale Road at around 12 p.m., with Fort Saskatchewan RCMP arriving on the scene and diverting traffic.

The road was cleared up several hours later with police thanking the public for their cooperation. Despite the road being cleared, the road is still closed to the public, with traffic being rerouted.

Although the extent of injuries and how many vehicles involved are not known, a report from CTV News said that it appeared that a tanker truck and several pickup trucks may have been involved.

An update will be provided once police get more information.
