Elderly man missing out of Leduc

An elderly man is missing from Leduc, and police are concerned for his wellbeing.

73-year-old James Smith was last seen leaving home on Sunday at around 8 a.m. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

Leduc RCMP believes that Smith may be trying to hitchhike to High River.

Smith is described as:

  • Fair complexion.
  • 5 feet 10 inches tall and 194 pounds.
  • Green eyes and brown hair.

Police added that he was last seen wearing a black “Mullens” jacket, green pants and a black hat.

Police are asking anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts to get in touch by calling 780-980-7267.
