Fort Saskatchewan RCMP continue to search for missing woman

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP are still looking for the public’s help in locating 37-year-old Janine Ellen Bott.

Janine was last seen on March 30 walking in the area of Township Road 534 and Range Road 185 in Lamont County. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since, which has police concerned for her wellbeing.

The RCMP mentioned that it’s possible Janine was headed towards Mundare, which is located 20 kilometres east from where she was last seen. Janine is known to hitchhike, so it’s possible someone may have seen her or given her a ride.

Janine is described as:

  • Medium complexion
  • 5 feet 1.5 inches tall and 110 pounds
  • Straight brown hair and hazel eyes
  • Flower tattoo on left wrist and healing symbol tattoo on right wrist
  • Tattoo of Angel wings with names Ashton and Taylor on upper back

Last weekend police searched homes while looking for Janine and would like to thank all the landowners who gave them permission to search. There have also been search and rescue volunteers in Edmonton and Parkland County who have been helping with the search.

Anyone who may have spotted Janine are asked to contact the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP at 780-997-7900.
