Later this week, Strathcona County Mayor Rod Frank will be alongside Council for their annual State of the County update.
The event is at the Strathcona County Community Centre on Wednesday, with the event starting at around 11 a.m. and running until 1:30 p.m.
This event gives the county an opportunity to report to the community on the challenges that they are facing, while reviewing the achievements of the county in the last year.
“Strathcona County’s success is achieved through a time-tested formula of municipal excellence built on sustainable finances,” said Mayor Rod Frank. “The County, however, has not been immune to era-defining difficulties that have also impacted our residents; including inflation, gas and electricity increases and high interest rates.
For those who can’t make it on Wednesday, there will be another State of the County community event on April 24 at the Community Centre, featuring the same presentation by Frank.
Tickets for the State of the County event are available on the Strathcona County website, with tickets costing about $45 each.
