Morinville police looking for suspect in serious assault

Morinville RCMP are investigating an assault that happened in Gibbons just before the new year.

The assault was on December 30 at the Gibbons Hotel. During an altercation, the suspect injured a bystander, which led to them facing serious injuries.

Police are now looking for assistance in identifying the suspects, releasing surveillance footage of the incident to the public.

Anyone with information on the assault are being asked to contact Morinville RCMP at 780-939-1600, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
