Alberta RCMP warning residents of poor road conditions

With a light blanket of snow appearing in the area overnight, this has led to Alberta RCMP issuing a warning to the public.

This warning is due to poor road conditions across the province, with recent reports of poor roads on Highways 44 and 37.

As for the industrial heartland, there have been reports of slick roads down Highway 21, with a semitruck rolling over in Edmonton early Wednesday morning.

Police are reminding residents to slow down and drive to the conditions of the road. The RCMP are also asking the public to avoid travel is possible, and if you need to drive, to plan extra time.

This warning was issued following an earlier release sent out by the Innisfail RCMP detachment.
