Building damaged in Edmonton fire

Firefighters in Edmonton fought a large fire yesterday that ended up damaging a commercial building.

Crews arrived to the blaze, which was near 159 Avenue and Fort Road, at about 2:42 p.m. Just twenty minutes later a second alarm was called in, and another twenty minutes later there was a third alarm.

According to Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, there were 21 crews on the scene at the height of the blaze.

Although no injuries were reported, a building was damaged in the blaze, with the building apparently being a storage facility.

No injuries have been reported in the blaze, with investigators trying to figure out what caused the fire.
