Pride flag thief wanted by St. Albert police

St. Albert RCMP are looking for help identifying a suspect involved in stealing a pride flag.

On April 12 at around 2 p.m., the suspect approached a home in the Lacombe subdivision, ringing the door bell. When nobody answered the door, the suspect ripped a pride flag from a flag pole on the property before leaving with it.

Police have described the suspect as:

  • Light skinned.
  • Brown hair with an undercut hairstyle.
  • Glasses.
  • Wearing a dark jacket with a coil notebook and pen in the front pocket, and what appears to be a paisley shirt with a dark tie.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is being asked to contact St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700, or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 if they wish to remain anonymous.
