Alberta releases list of most top baby names

The provincial government has released a list of the most popular baby names in 2023.

Throughout the yea, 47,263 babies were born, with over 13,000 different names between them.

This is the 11th year in a row that Olivia has been the top name for baby girls in Alberta, with 210 Olivias born last year.

As for the boys, Noah is the most popular baby name for the fifth year in a row, with 276 Noahs born last year.

There were also some unconvential names that made it on the list, including girl names like Andromeda, and boy names like Dude.

Boys
