Highway 28 partially closed from serious car crash

A serious two vehicle collision has closed a section of Highway 28.

Morinville RCMP responded to the crash near Township Road 572 in Sturgeon County, with police redirecting traffic as emergency crews respond.

Police are also asking drivers to avoid the area and to expect delays while driving down the highway.

The extent of injuries is unknown, but an update will be provided once more information is released.
