London Drugs closes all stores following cybersecurity incident

All London Drugs across Western Canada were closed today following a “cybersecurity incident” that happened over the weekend.

The company experienced an operational issue on Sunday, with London Drugs claiming that they were the victim of a cybersecurity incident. This is what led to them closing the doors of every single one of their stores.

In a statement released on Monday, the company mentioned that they do not believe that any employee or customer data was impacted in the incident, but that the stores closures were out of an abundance of caution.

Although the stores were closed, London Drugs still had pharmacists available for urgent pharmacy needs. There has been no word on when London Drugs will be back open.
