Fort Saskatchewan testing emergency siren system

The City of Fort Saskatchewan will be testing its emergency siren system today.

The testing will begin at around 11 a.m., with sirens throughout Fort Saskatchewan going off during testing. These sirens are expected to be loud.

The city is asking residents to ignore the sirens, and they apologize for the noise.

This is due to May 5 to May 11 being Emergency Preparedness Week.
