Four in hospital following Edmonton pit bull attack

Five people were attacked by a pair of pit bulls in Edmonton on Thursday, with the attack sending four of these people to hospital.

The attacks were in Meadowland Park, with one victim claiming that the dog was chasing two teenagers. When the victim tried to intervene, the dog’s bit her as well.

After biting the two teens and the woman, the dog proceeded to chase after a couple, attacking them as well.

All but one of the adults had to be taken to hospital where they faced non-life-threatening injuries, with one of the victims claiming that they needed to get a tetanus shot.

According to Edmonton police, the two pit bulls have been seized by Edmonton bylaw officials.
