One dead after crash outside of Fort Saskatchewan

A St. Albert man is dead after a crash just outside of Fort Saskatchewan on Tuesday night.

The crash was just after 9 p.m. on Highway 15 south of Range Road 231 in Sturgeon County. When officers arrived they discovered that the crash involved a single vehicle.

Emergency responders removed the driver, 52-year-old man, from the vehicle. However, the man was deceased.

Southbound traffic down Highway 15 was impacted for several hours, with police still investigating into the cause of the crash.
