Three Edmontonians among 2024 Alberta Order of Excellence inductees

Edmonton will be well-represented among the 2024 class of Alberta Order of Excellence inductees.  Of the eight inductees, three hail from Edmonton.

Robert Foster, Catherine Fraser, and Stephen Mandel will take their places among the 220 Order members at an October ceremony in Edmonton.

“The Alberta Order of Excellence is an opportunity to celebrate the women and men in our province who have contributed so much for the greater good,” said Lieutenant-Governor Salma Lakhani.

“While the recipients this year have made stellar contributions to many different fields, what they share is a dedication and commitment to service and leadership. May they inspire us all to build compassionate and thoughtful communities.”

The Alberta Order of Excellence is the province’s highest honour a citizen can receive and is an official part of the Canadian Honours System.
