EPS Homicide Section are investigating the death of a man that occurred early Monday morning in central Edmonton.
Police responded to the area of 109 Avenue and 96 Street on the report of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. EMS responded and the man was declared deceased on scene.
A male suspect was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
