Police seeking information relating to damage of city property in St. Albert

St. Albert RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding damaged bus shelters and benches throughout the city:

  • On June 5, 2024, at the bus shelter on Boudreau Road & Campbell Road, an unknown individual(s) placed a poster and spray-painted various words and phrases relating to the war in Gaza on the bus bench & shelter
  • On June 7, 2024, at the bus bench on Poirier Avenue & Kirkwood Drive, an unknown individual(s) spray-painted various words and phrases relating to the war in Gaza on the bench.
  • On June 7, 2024, at the bus bench on Sir Winston Churchill Avenue & Sturgeon Road, placed posters with various words and phrases relating to the war in Gaza on the bench.
  • On June 7, 2024, at the bus bench on Boudreau Road & Akins Drive, an unknown individual(s) placed posters with various words and phrases relating to the war in Gaza on the bench.
  • On June 10, 2024, at the bus bench on Poirier Avenue & Parkwood Drive, an unknown individual(s) spray-painted various words and phrases relating to the war in Gaza on the bench.

St. Albert RCMP is asking anyone with information about the identity or description of the unknown individual(s) involved in this mischief, any home security surveillance footage of the unknown individual(s) or any suspicious activity around the bus stops on the days in question to call St. Albert RCMP at 780-458-7700 or if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.

St. Albert RCMP also encourages citizens to report any suspicious activity seen around city bus benches & shelters in order to prevent future damage.
