One dead in three-vehicle collision on Anthony Henday Drive

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a car on Anthony Henday Drive near 184 Street Thursday night.

EPS say that a motorcycle travelling eastbound on the Henday at an extreme rate of speed rear-ended a car, causing the car to then lose control and collide with a nearby truck.

EMS paramedics responded to the collision call and pronounced the male motorcycle driver deceased on scene. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and remained on scene, while the driver and passenger of the truck were taken to hospital for precautionary reasons.
