Police seek public’s assistance in identifying Edmonton armed robbery suspect

EPS are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect from an armed robbery committed in late May 2024.

On Friday, May 31, 2024, at approximately 9:03 a.m., a male suspect entered a store located in the area of 107 Avenue and 123 Street.  He proceeded to a display case, smashed it with a hammer and removed an expensive piece of jewelry.  He then fled southbound from the location on an electric bike.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’8” to 6’0” tall with a heavy build.  Police believe the same suspect may be responsible for a previous robbery at the same location in February of 2024.

“We are hopeful that a member of the public may recognize this suspect or the electric bike that he was riding to make his escape,” says Detective Carmen Klose of EPS Robbery Section.  “Anyone with information is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information about the identity of this robbery suspect is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250
