CRA pursues legal action to recover pandemic benefit overpayments.

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced it will start trying to recover $9.5 billion in pandemic benefits overpayments distributed to ineligible recipients. With legal actions set to commence next month, individuals who have not responded or cooperated, yet possess the financial capability to reimburse, will face legal warnings.
