St. Albert RCMP team-up with local businesses to combat catalytic converter thefts

In response to a surge in catalytic converter thefts, St. Albert RCMP have initiated a partnership with local businesses to etch VIN numbers onto the converters. This collaborative effort aims to aid law enforcement in identifying stolen units and providing vital evidence for investigations.

Currently, eight businesses in St. Albert are participating in the initiative, demonstrating a community-wide commitment to curbing these thefts.
