Woman found dead in Mill Creek Ravine in Edmonton.

Edmonton police have classified the death of a woman found in Mill Creek Ravine as a homicide following an autopsy, though specifics on the cause of death are being withheld for investigative purposes.

The woman has been identified as Threna Waskahat, 31.

Police responded to a call on Saturday in the Mill Creek Ravine parking lot where firefighters had discovered the woman’s body after extinguishing a nearby fire.

Authorities are urging individuals who frequent the ravine and may have observed any suspicious activities to contact them via the non-emergency line or Crime Stoppers.
