Taste of Edmonton celebrates 40 years

Organizers of the Taste of Edmonton say they have ways to keep festival goers cool during the upcoming heat wave.

The festival is stating this Thursday July 18 and will go on until July 28 at Churchill Square.

“We’ve got lots of umbrellas and misting stations. We have several different things to get people out of the elements and protected,” – Donovan Vienneau, general manager of Taste of Edmonton.

You can purchase tickets online to try a variety of different foods. Up to 170 dishes from up to 50 vendors. Enjoy the food with live performances and music all day from emerging and established Canadian Artists.

This year there will be new experiences like THE MARKET by  Wholly Handmade, that will showcase w whole lot of local artisan goods, food tours & food bike tours, musical performances starting at noon and running up until 10pm

Taste of Edmonton has exciting headliners lined up for the McLennan Ross Stage:

  • On Friday, July 26, Canadian rapper and producer Classified will take the stage.
  • On Saturday, July 27, Glass Tiger will headline.
  • Court Jester Dueling Pianos will entertain as headliners from July 18 to July 25, 2024.
